Kia ora Georgina! Awesome, where did you go camping? Thanks for writing your first post good work! Have a look on the Summer Learning Journey site under "Weekly Activities" and have a go at completing some activities there to earn some points! :) Looking forward to reading more of your blogs!
At kaitoki it was so cool and we stay there for 3 night and 4 days and after that we went to napier and we went to hot spring but we didn't make it because we hungry and it was to far so we went to Hamilton were our nan lives so we stay there for 1 ina half night and 1 day then we went to hasting to slash palnet and it was my first time there first I went in the lazy river and then we had lunch and I went on all the rides, slides and the pools
This is cool Georgina! I love camping at Kaitoke because its close to Wellington and I like to swim in the river there. Do you know if you can make fires there? When I was there last summer you could only use the BBQ and you werent allowed to make fires anymore. Splash Planet is so much fun too! Do you swim in the Hutt River much? Its really cool
It sounds like you had a fun holiday! Did you enjoy camping? We camped in our backyard here in Lower Hutt!
What did you like best about Splash Planet? Would you recommend it?
Did you have fun visiting your nan? Did you go anywhere in Hamilton? I lived there for 8 years many years ago and I really enjoyed it. There were lots of things to do and see if you knew where to go!
Yes i did have fun camping and we had to have our bath in the river And it was so cold. My sister Shekinah lost her jandals in the river. My favourite activities were walking on a scary swing bridge, bush walking, going to see Rivendell from lord of the rings cooking marshmallows over the bon fire and enjoying time with my family. When we went to Splash Planet on New Years day and it was my step dads birthday to. They have cool rides and i would like to go every year.Spending time with Nan in Hamilton was nice and relaxing. My nan made some yum as fried bread and me and my sisters went to the neighbours and traded them for their plums. Nan said it is a blessing to bless others. we went to Parana park and it was beautiful and after we had fun. We went to Wellington beach and I was the first one to get in and we jumped off the wharf and then we floated down the current from the clay lands and it was the best time i had. I like Hamiltonand would like to see more.

DeleteI agree with your Nan. It is a blessing to bless others. What wise words!!
DeleteWould you say your Nan makes the best fried bread? I love it; but, I don't know how to make it. :-(
